Tape recoveries include overwritten backup sets, partially erased tapes and corrupt headers. We have a full, internally developed, software library for recovery purposes. This allows us to read most current backup sets: e.g.- ArcServe, Veritas Backup Exec, NT Backup, HP/Colorado backup, etc., without requiring and without being limited by the original backup software. (Sorry, this software is not for sale.)
Tape recoveries are handled on the same basis as hard disk recoveries. We can structure recovery to include both hardware and the tape backup whilst only charging for one recovery.

All QIC and many obsolete tape formats can be handled.
If the equipment is very obsolete we may request your hardware even if it is faulty. We will write device drivers and decoding routines to suit even the most obscure formats.
